All new members should read the following to have an sufficient understanding of the organizations that roam the Wizarding World and their intentions. All characters have the option of associating with any of these groups, although changing groups is not common and extremely difficult, so make sure you choose wisely.
===================================================
Falwrick's Order: Vigilantes that will resort to any means to see the Ministry of Magic sever all ties with the muggle Ministries. They believe that muggles have no place interacting with wizards, and are planning an Coup d'état to take the Ministry of Magic under their power. Through subtle scheming and double dealing, they have members in the Ministry's high ranking positions.
Brotherhood of the Sanctus Peregrimus Cruor: A far larger yet less organized group in the form of a brotherhood who preach muggle intolerance and a return to a 'pure' society. Although they do not intend to wipe out all mudbloods, they practice principles of no tolerance for 'interbreeding' and associating with muggles. They torture and murder any who commit such 'sacrilege' without hesitation and are gathering an army to overthrow the Ministry entirely and establish their own order. Although only secretly know to the brotherhood's key leaders, their ultimate goal is to reveal themselves to muggles and make them serve wizards.
===================================================
The Ministry Union for the Betterment of Mankind, or MU: An overly fancy name for the system of eyes and ears the Ministry of Magic has strung out throughout all works and walks of life. Stricty secret yet widespread, the Union is a heiarchy of power, strings to a massive puppet that the Minister of Magic holds exclusively. A regular model of corruption where the Government interferes with every day life with the use of spies and a secret police.
Society for the Welfare of Impures: Though not at all a secret organization, this massive group of wizards either of muggle or mudblood heritage has contacts all over the world. They protest and petition for the rights and non-discrimination against non-pureblooded wizarding families. Although they think little of muggles, they are not hostile towards them.
Alliance for a Rebirth in Fire, or ARIF: A group claiming to be the 'ashes' of the Order of the Phoenix. While a great deal of its dedicated members a[nre former OOtP members, most new ARIF members are young and experienced liberals who see it as a radical new branch the opposes the ministry. Though it is small and unrefined, ARIF gains new student members almost daily. They believe that wizards and muggles should work together harmoniously, one helping the other outwardly instead of in secret.
