A hot overhead sun glinted relentlessly down upon a winding cobbled lane crowded with a strange assortment of every kind of people imaginable; furtive shoppers, who sought to escape the noisy rabble as soon as they could, raucously vocal students laughing and jeering at one another, and hawkers crying their wares indistinguishably through the din. Even through this sort of 'organized chaos', Erin could hear whispers at every moments and from every direction, and it was no mystery as to why.
Her radiant curling locks of a soft red and gold blend had been sculpted into a near gravity-defying fohawk (a mohawk, without the sides shaved and with bangs - a little more feminine), standing almost a foot above her head and a full fist thick near her scalp. Its gilded sheen caught both the hot summer sunlight so that it posessed a light of its own and string of murmurs and bewildered comments. A dazzling array of studs and loops decorated her ears and dashing green shadow framed her light azure eyes, creating a rather bold and striking look that was so out-of-character for Erin.
With a bright grin that absorbed all the darting looks, the brash stares, and the whispered comments, Erin strode purposefully into a wide plaza that left more room for walking than the narrow alley she had left. Too her dismay...Honeydukes was no where to be found. Whatever else can be said of Erin, she has absolutely no sense of direction, and thus found herself lost without an inkling of any idea which way to go. Seeing absolutely no one that she recognized, Erin gritted her teeth and approached the first person that she saw, a stranger leaning against a fence in front of the Shrieking Shack.
"Oy...can you tell me which way's to Honeydukes?"
